    The Transhumance Festival is an annual celebration dedicated to reconnecting people to the land.

    The festival reintroduces the age-old practice of transhumance--the tradition of moving livestock from one grazing ground to another in a seasonal cycle. 

    This free public festival includes engaging demonstrations on land stewardship practices, soil and watershed health, reconsidering our waste streams, and sharing of culture.

    Come check out the 2026 annual Fisherman’s Festival in Bodega Bay, California! Our Bodega Land Trust will be volunteering at the event, so come support the local Bodega Bay community and say hi to some familiar faces! We look forward to running into you there.

    Join the Bodega Pastures Preschool tomorrow, Sunday, March 8th at The Altamont (3703 Main Street, Occidental) for an afternoon of solidarity, care, and collective action in support of VIDAS and immigrant families across Sonoma County. There will be a silent auction, raffle, food & drink, art salon, music, and poetry.
