Nourishment from the Land.

We offer meat that is thoughtfully grown, 100% grass fed & finished on regeneratively managed rangeland.

Good Meat Matters.

Our sheep are born & raised on pasture and eat only the high-quality forage provided by the range and home-grown hay. We rotate our flock regularly to fresh ground, balancing their needs with those of the grasslands we steward.

Our meat shares are an opportunity to invest in the highest quality lamb or mutton, while supporting the health and conservation of our grasslands.

  • For decades, the sheep have been an integral part of our community and way of life. These animals inspire us with the abundance they bring; it is important to us to support them in their role on the land. We are grateful to be able to offer meat of such a high integrity to our local community, and to uphold a sustainable relationship of interdependence spanning interspecies communities.

  • We do not use GMOs, antibiotics, hormones, pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, or synthetic materials. Our sheep are never fed or finished on grain.

  • “Compared with grain-fed meat, grass-fed meat has as much as four times more vitamin E, five times more cancer-fighting CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), three times more heart friendly omega-3s, and twice as much betacarotene. It is also lower in calories, total fat, and saturated fat.” (Jo Robinson, eatwild.com.)

Here’s how it works.

  • Harvest & Processing

Lambs are ready for harvest in the beginning of July. Our animals are slaughtered on the ranch. We sell you a lamb, or by sharing with another customer, half a lamb, at $8.99 per lb. of “hanging weight” meat. Mutton is available at a flat rate of $230. Hanging weights range from 25 to 60 pounds. We will help you arrange for its butchering to your specifications. A very good price for great tasting, grass-fed, healthy, and local lamb!
