Formula for figuring the price of your farm to table purchase:
Price per pound of animal hanging weight ($10.00/lb)
+ Ranch Handling ($1.00/lb)
= Cost To Customer from Bodega Pastures: $11.00/lb
Half: 21×11=$231
This is the total cost due at check-out when placing the order. Squarespace fees applied at check-out.
Cost at Pick-Up From the Butcher:
Field Butcher cost ($50.00)
+ cut and wrap charge ($70.00) (in butcher paper)
= $120.00 due to butcher at pick-up
Important Information About Your Purchase:
Butcher will contact you directly for cut instructions around July, and butchering payment is due upon scheduled pickup ($70.00 + $50.00).
Request for specific meat cuts, bones, and fat. directly from butcher.
Request organ meat upon order (now).
Hanging weight- Weight of animal after slaughter with bone, fat, and meat included.
Ranch Handling Fee- Processing fee that goes to Bodega Pastures LLC’s laborers.
